Carmelo Aiello- Human Resources Director
Carmelo Aiello joined PFD Food Services as Human Resources Director in September 2011. He leads the Company’s Human Resources, Organisation/Culture and OHS initiatives.Prior to joining PFD Carmelo was General Manager Human Resources for BlueScope Steel -Australian Distribution and Solutions from 2007 to 2011 and prior to BlueScope, he was General Manager Human Resources for Smorgon Steel Distribution. He has held senior Human Resources positions in the steel distribution, building products and food industries.
Carmelo is a certified professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and holds Batchelor of Business degree and a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration.

Matthew Chapman- Chief Strategy Officer
Over the last twenty five years Matthew has accumulated significant and broad ranging experience within the hospitality industry.Commencing with PFD in 1992 as part of the Merchandise Department, Matthew has held a variety of responsibilities and overseen various functional areas within the business including Group Merchandise, Stock, Corporate Sales and Marketing.As a member of the Senior Management Team his role is focused on identifying potential acquisitions, development of strategic opportunities in both customer and product segments whilst also being involved in maintaining a number of key customer and supplier relationships. -

David Wright- Group Sales and Marketing Manager
David joined PFD as a Junior Clerk in 1990 and progressed through the company undertaking roles in each area including the warehouse, operations, stock, replenishment and administration, finally settling in Sales and Marketing.
In 2005 David undertook a Marketing Diploma as he assumed the role of Group Sales and Marketing Manager.
David now heads a team of 12 Key Account Managers responsible for over $400M in revenue and manages the brand and customer acquisition and retention programs.

Darren Miller - Group Merchandise Manager
Darren’s role of Group Merchandise Manager encompasses the overseeing of all dealings on a National and State perspective with PFD’s vast array of Supplier partners. He heads a team of experienced buyers who ensure PFD remain competitive in both purchase price and commercial arrangements.
Darren originally started with PFD in 1984 and has left the business on two occasions to further develop his skills, with the last of those for 7 years as General Manager of Combined Foodservice of Australia. This is the Foodservice buying group established in 2001 that PFD are an inaugural member of.
Darren enjoys participating in many sporting activities and being involved with his three children’s sporting exploits.

Richard Cohen- Chief Information Officer
Chief Information Officer. Richard is responsible for setting and implementing IT strategic direction in alignment with the company’s business strategy. Richard has been with PFD Food Services since 2005 and has been involved in a number of pivotal projects including business integrations and system implementations.
Prior to PFD, Richard worked in manufacturing environments where he was the Regional IS Manager for General Mills (Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia) and previous Richard was the IT Manager at Clark’s shoes. Before then Richard was a Consultant with the Melbourne practice of KPMG Consulting.
